Delete Account & Data
You can request deletion of your Vox Document account and the personal data we hold about you. This page explains how.
Last updated: June 23, 2026
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove or anonymize:
- Your profile information (name, email)
- Uploaded documents and extracted text
- Generated narration audio, summaries, and chat history
- Authentication credentials and session data
We may retain limited information where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or billing purposes (for example, transaction records from payment providers), but it will no longer be used to provide the service.
How to delete your account
Option 1 — In the app (recommended)
- Sign in at https://voxdocument.com/login
- Open Settings
- Choose the account deletion option and confirm your request
If you do not see a delete option in Settings yet, use Option 2 below. We are rolling out self-service deletion across all platforms.
Option 2 — Email request
Email [email protected]from the address linked to your account with the subject line "Account deletion request". Include the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
Mobile app users
You can also request deletion from within the Vox Document mobile app under Settings, or by emailing [email protected] from your registered email address.
Before you delete
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- Cancel any active subscription before deleting to avoid future charges
- Export or save any documents you need before requesting deletion
For subscription management, visit Billing or your app store subscription settings.
Delete documents only
You do not need to delete your entire account to remove a single document. Open your library, select the document, and delete it. Associated narration and chat data for that document will be removed as well.
